Fine Art, Photography and Writing

Welcome

After The Storm

Welcome to Heácræft, a fine arts magazine. We aim to provide a space for artists and writers to publish their work. Right now we are accepting submissions for work, be it photography, painting or writing. See the submissions page for more information.

So what is Heácræft? It is an old English word meaning excellent art or skill:

heáhcræft
excellent art or skill exon. 109 a th. 417
http://www.oldenglishtranslator.co.uk/

You will probably notice that some of the work here is a little out of the mainstream. We don't have much in the way of a mission statement but work is accepted on its quality. Collectors are also welcome :)

We will also try to keep you informed of art events in the south of England and other notable happenings as and when we come across them.

Website Changes

The Tax Man - Cliff Hawkins

Many new things about the site in preparation to its migration to a new domain name. The slideshow now fades in and out, which is a great improvment. Updated code to XHTML 1.1 - just a geeky thing really, but hopefully future-proof.

If anyone is interested in my other projects check out www.dawoodfall.net, which is mainly Linux related stuff.
